THE PARIS NEWS, Sun., May 10, 1998, p. 4B: '(Picture) Blake 'Rabbit' Bills, 85, 945 W. Garrett, died Wednesday, May 6, 1998, at Paris Nursing Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 11, at Solid Rock Baptist Church with the Rev. A. R. Martin officiating. Burial will be in Fairland-Littlejohn Cemetery by Maxey Funeral Home. He was born Oct. 14, 1912, in Lamar County to Annie Bills. He was retired from Sears after 25 years and had been employed at Wal-Mart since 1981. He was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Arthur and Bruce Wayne Bills; several grandchildren, Gary L. Bills, Bryant Bills, LaTrina Bills LaQuita Bills, Gary Bills Jr. and Byron Bills, all of Dallas, and Delon Bills of Paris; and two daughters-in-law, Nona Williams of Dallas and Sheia [sic] Bills of Paris. His wife, Mable Moore Bills, died Aug. 5, 1990. Pallbearers will be Michael Ferguson, Earl Harmon, Rufus Hill, Bobby Harris, Luther Cook and Melvin Randles.'
