THE PARIS NEWS, Fri., Mar. 20, 1998, p. 4B: 'Frances Marie Boren, 75, 91-22nd SE, died Thursday, March 19, 1998, at Plano Columbia Medical Center, Plano. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 21, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with the Rev. Randall Scott officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Boren was born May, 17, 1922, in Roxton to Tom and Mary Johnson Friday. She married Tom Boren who preceded her in death. She was a nurse at McCuistion Regional Medical Center for 28 years. Surviving are a daughter, Billie Timmerman of Fort Madison, Iowa; a granddaughter, Melanie Martin of Plano; a great-granddaughter, Stephanie Martin of Plano; and a brother, Joe Friday of Roxton.'
