THE PARIS NEWS, Fri., Feb. 20, 1998, p. 4B: 'Lee Bell Icenhower, 95, of Paris, formerly of Detroit, died at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, 1998, at Cherry Street Annex. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at Martin Memorial United Methodist Church of Detroit with the Rev. Willie Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Detroit Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Friday at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. The body will lie at the church for one hour prior to the service. She was born July 20, 1902, in Detroit to J. K. and Lela Evatt Guest. She attended Liberty school and was a member of Martin Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker. She married L. C. 'Luther' Icenhower in 1917 in Detroit. He died in 1972. Surviving are two sons, Charles O.Icenhower of Fort Worth and C. L. 'Junior' Icenhower of Chandler, AZ; one daughter, Kathalee Stuart of Paris; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Kirk Icenhower, a grandson, Billy Dewayne Icenhower; and a great-grandson, Tommy Walker Pallbearers will be Gary Stuart, James R. Miller, Dale Miller, Paul Coleman, Otis Phifer and Ricky Walker.'
