THE PARIS NEWS, Sun., Feb. 2, 1997, p.6A: 'Talma Ray 'Ted' Box, 57, of Blossom, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 1997, at the family residence. Mr. Box was born March 13, 1929, in Blossom, a son of A.B. and Bertha Reasoner Box. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a retired fireman. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Monday in Fry-Gibbs Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bill Felts officiating. Burial will be in Knights of Honor Cemetery with Jeff White, Monty O'Neal, Deryl Johns, Curtis Johns, Paul Box and Gregg Box serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Survivors include two daughters, Leslie White of Blossom and Karen O'Neal of Chicota; four grandchildren, Cole White, Cade White, Carsen White and Kaleigh Young; his mother, Bertha Box of Blossom; and two brothers, Donald Box of Mesquite and Jerry Box of Blossom.'
