| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Sun., Jan. 4, 1998, p. 6A: ‘Winnie Joyce Barton, 75, of Paris, died Friday, Jan. 2, 1998, at her residence. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 5, at East Paris Baptist Church with the Rev. Buddy Greer and the Rev. Mike Fortenberry officiating. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Gardens Cemetery under direction of Wood Funeral Home of Deport. The family will receive friends from 4:30-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Barton was born Oct. 29, 1922, in Greenville, a daughter of Lester A. and Winnie Mayo Womack. She married Van Barton, Dec. 31, 1946, in Paris. She is survived by her husband ; two sons and daughters-in-law, Marshall and Nancy Barton of Kemp and Mike and Debbie Barton of Cedar Hill; a daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Clifton Bryant of Plano; eight grandchildren, Marshall Wayne and Kyle Barton, Michael, Dee Dee and Daniel Barton, Jason Moreno, and Sylvester and Vanessa Bryant; a great-grand-daughter, Emma Lee Barton; a brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Nedra Womack of Paris; three sisters-in-law, Irma Womack of Denison, Catherine Weaver of Mesquite and Martha Ann Fox of Corpus Christi; a brother-in-law, Calvin Barton of Longview; and several nieces and nephews.
