| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Thu., Nov. 6, 1997, p. 4B: 'Carl Bateman, 73, of Honey Grove died Monday, Nov. 3, 1997, at St. Joseph's Hospital & Health Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at 16th Street Baptist Church in Honey Grove with the Rev. Bruce Nash officiating. Maxey Funeral Home will make burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Surviving are seven sons, Carl Edward Bateman of Fort Worth, Johnny Ray, Charles Henry and Carl Bateman Jr, Robert Delany Allen and Desmic Allen, all of Honey Grove and Joe Wayne Bateman of Dallas; five daughters, Martha Joe Moore of Wichita Falls, Dorothy Jean Cross of Sherman, Marilyn Joyce Bateman and Inita Bateman, both of Honey Grove, and Irene Johnson of Fort Worth. He was preceded in death by a son, Earl Wayne Bateman, and a daughter, Peggy Bateman.' |
