| Notes THE LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, 18 Aug 1988. 'Boyd Virgil Tutle, 89, Rt.4, Paris, died Wednesday, 10 Aug 1988, at his home. Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home conducted private graveside services Thursday, 11 Aug, at Restland Cemetery in Dallas. Dr. Warren Carter officiated. Mr. Tutle was born 28 Nov 1898, in Van Zandt County, a son of W.C. and Matilda Walsh Tutle. He attended Jackson schools and married Flora M. Chesser on 29 Apr 1917. She died 1 Jan 1974. They lived in Van Zandt County most of their lives with the exception of five years in Kaufman and Limestone Counties. They moved to Lamar County in June 1971. He was a farmer and rancher and a member of the Lamar Avenue Church of Christ. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lowell (Maurine) Vines of Fort Worth; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Daphnell Pirtle, in 1959.' |
