THE PARIS NEWS, 18 Apr 1964: "Mrs. Jessie O. Turner, 91, widow of W.H. Turner, died Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at 1323 Pine Bluff St., where she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Alva Winters. She had been in failing health some time. Funeral services Monday at 2:30 p.m., will be held in Holy Cross Episcopal Church, where she was a member. The rector, the Rev. James W. O'Connell, will officiate, Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home to make interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Surviving are these children, besides Mrs. Winters: Mrs. Paul Jordan and Herbert A. Turner, also of Paris; Charles Turner, Shreveport, La., and Glenn A. Turner, Houston, and six other descendants in three generations. The former Jessie Oliver, daughter of Allen K. Oliver and the former Mary Ann Mayfield, Mrs. Turner was born in Paris, 14 Mar 1873, and attended private schools here. She was married to W. Herbert Turner here 26 Oct 1895 his death occurring in September, 1926. She was a member of St. Margaret's Episcopal Guild, and had belonged to the Woodmen Circle. She was long associated with her late husband and her son here in the W. H. Turner Engineering Company."
