THE PARIS NEWS, Mon., Dec. 16, 1996, p.6A. 'James Henry Turner, 85, of Gilmer died Saturday, Dec. 14, 1996, at a Longview Hospital. Bright-Holland Funeral Home conducted graveside services at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, at Evergreen Cemetery with Ed Fleming officiating. He was born Jan. 7, 1911, in Marshall to Henry and Amy Lively Turner. He was a member of Ramseur Baptist Church and a retired health inspector for Red River Arsenal. Surviving are a brother, Terrell Turner of Costa Mesa, CA; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Foreman Turner and a sister, Elizabeth Madoria Turner Cornelius.'

Married Hazel Aline Foreman.
