THE PARIS NEWS, July 20, 1987: DENTON - James. S. Trulock, formerly of Paris, died Saturday, July 18, at his home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, at Jack Schmitz and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Denton with the Rev. William C. Crouch and the Rev. Glenn Noblin officiating. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Paris with the Rev. John Peel officiating. Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of local arrangements. Mr. Trulock was born on July 3, 1911, in Biardstown, a son of C.W. and Mattie Trulock, He married Geraldine Kidd on June 1, 1935. He was a graduate of Paris High School, Paris Junior College and Texas A&M University. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and a former member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a claims adjuster for General Adjustment Bureau for 25 years. Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Trulock of the home; a daughter, Dr. Sidneye Carol Trowbridge, and son-in-law, Dr. Randall C. Trowbridge, of Everett, Wash.; a son, Ward Trulock, and daughter-in-law, Berta Trulock, of Tulsa, Okla.; and seven grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Ann's Haven Hospice or First United Methodist Church of Denton.
