THE PARIS NEWS, 11 Feb 1968. 'Funeral services for Donald Trotter, resident of Roxton, who died 8 Feb in Lamar Medical Center here of illness, will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Roxton, at Mount Zion Church of God in Christ. Burial there in Rocky Ford Cemetery will be made by Washington, Williams & Rundles of Paris. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Ethel Trotter; two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Lipscomb and Mrs. Helen Wesson, Dallas; a brother, Willie Trotter, Vancouver, Wash., and four sisters: Mrs. Mabel Hill, Mrs. Dixie Smith, Miss Macy Lee Trotter, and Mrs. Charlene Strain, all of Oakland, Calif.'

Tombstone is inscribed 'Texas Private WW II.' Next to Ethel M. Trotter.
