LAMAR COUNTY ECHO Oct.4, 1984. '212 SE Alpine, Plainview, died in Central Plains Hospital in Plainview. Services Sept. 29 at Garland St. Church of Christ in Plainview under the direction of Lemmons Funeral home. Graveside services held Sun., at the Georgia Community Cemetery. Burial under the direction of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home. Born in the Tigertown Community, son of Major Judson Tribble & Zeda Ziporia Gollhar Tribble. He attended schools in Tigertown & moved to Plainview in 1944. He was a substation foreman with Southwestern Public Service Co. He was active in the Garland St. Church of Christ. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John 'Zeda' Forrester of Douglasville, GA.; a son, Aubrey 'Audie' Russell Tribble, of College Station; 3 brothers, M.Q. 'Shorty' Tribble, of Llano, Lonnie Tribble, of Tigertown, E.L. Tribble, of Plainview; 4 sisters, Mrs. Stella Mahan of Tigertown, Mrs. Tillie Scott, of Plainview, Mrs. Kay Stapletown, of Lubbock, & Mrs. Nellie Robinson, of Tigertown. He is also survived by 2 step granddaughters & numerous nieces & nephews.' There are 2 unknown woodstakes between this grave & Oscar J. Brown.
