| Notes THE LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, 22 Jan 1987: 'Artis Lee Tyson, 1226-11th NE, died Wednesday, 14 Jan 1987. Funeral services were held Saturday, 17 Jan, at the Maxey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J. King officiating. Burial was in Fairland Cemetery. He was born in Paris 25 Apr 1943, a son of Willie Tyson and Lillie M. Wortham Tyson. He attended Paris schools and was a Baptist. Survivors include a son, Ronald Ray Tyson of Paris; two daughters, Brenda Lee Tyson and Sherry Jo Tyson, both of Paris; his mother, of Paris.' In 1994 this was an unmarked grave. |
