| Notes From the record journal of Meadowbrook Cemetery; died in Paris, TX., age 81 years. Married Emma Lula ?? THE PARIS NEWS, Monday, June 4, 1962, p. 2. 'The funeral of Henry Richard Townsend, 81, retired farmer, who lived at 222-5th SE, was held Monday morning at Gene Roden and Sons chapel by the Rev. Gerald McCollom of Garrett Memorial Methodist Church; the Rev. W.H. Fisher, Ramseur Baptist Church and the Rev. James E. Jones, First Methodist Church. Interment was made in Meadowbrook Gardens, and bearers were Melvon Locke, Roy Stewart, Earl Burke, Wayne Tromblin, Bob Mathews and A. McNeal. Mr. Townsend died at home Friday after illness.' |
