| Notes LAMAR COUNTY ECHO July 11, 1985: "Claud Townsend, Hotel Denison, died Sun., July 7, at Medical Plaza Hospital in Sherman. He was a former resident of Paris. Graveside service Tues., July 9, in Paris. Bratcher Funeral Home of Denison had charge. Born in Paris. He married Mary Regero in Orlando, FL. Was a retail merchant for many years and was a member of the Graham Street Baptist Church in Paris. Surviving are 2 daughters, Dorothy Shepherd of Reno, NV., and Mary Sherrard of Denison; 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and a great great grandchild." On the same stone with Mary Regero Townsend. Marker is inscribed, "Married in Jacksonville, Fla." |
