| Notes THE PARIS NEWS, Monday, January 14, 1991, p. 2: “COOPER -- Fred Irving Toppings, 81, of Garland died there Monday, Jan. 14. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Restland Cemetery in Roxton. Delta Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. Mr. Toppings was born Jan. 10, 1907, a son of Huak [sic] and Mattie Toppings. On November 23, 1929, he married Inez Eula Smith. She died Aug. 19, 1990. Surviving are two sons, Harold Toppigs and Freddy Toppings, both of Garland; a daughter, Betty Long of Garland; a sister, Lucille Fulfer of Garland; a brother, H. A. Toppings of Cedar Creek, and two grandchildren.” On the same stone with Eula Inez Smith Toppings. Son of Hurk & Mattie Toppings. |
