| Notes THE LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, 27 Apr 1989. 'John Buddy Tisdell, 75, 2232 E. Price, died at his home Sunday, 23 Apr 1989, at 9 p.m. Services were held Wednesday, 26 Apr, at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Cline Davis officiating. Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home had charge of arrangements. Mr. Tisdell was born 27 Nov 1913, in Louisville, Miss., a son of Samuel S. Tisdell and Mattie Porter Tisdell. He attended schools in Louisville and worked for the Navy for 10 years, including Pearl Harbor and Honolulu during World War II. He later worked for Kaiser Aluminum in New Orleans, La., for 25 years. He moved to Paris in 1983. Surviving are two sisters, Lucille Cassidy of Quinland and Nancy Patterson of Louisville, Miss., and several nieces and nephews, including Jim Tisdell of Paris.'
