THE PARIS NEWS, Wednesday, August 26, 1953, p. 5: "Sister Hildegarde, 74, died Wednesday at 10:20 a.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital where she had been the past six weeks. She was brought here from Marshall where she had been at the Texas and Pacific Railway Hospital. The funeral mass,, Thursday at 8:30 a.m., will be held in the hospital chapel, conducted by the Rev. J. V. McCallum. Gene Roden & Sons will make interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Sister Hildegarde, whose family name was Tinnes, was born Oct. 28, 1878 in Reisback, Germany where her brother and sister, Mathias Tinnes, and Sister Anna Mock, live now."
