LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, 25, Apr 1985: “Funeral services for Mrs. Ann B. Good Tilson, 2193 E. Cherry, were conducted Saturday, 20 Apr., in Evergreen Cemetery. Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home had charge of arrangements. Dr. Raymond Armstrong officiated. Mrs. Tilson died Wednesday, 17 Apr 1985, in St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was born 30 Dec 1886, in Lamar County, a daughter of John Samuel Bland and Mary Armstrong Bland. She was a graduate of Paris High School and a member of the First Christian Church. Surviving are two grandsons, Carl Warburg of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Jack Warburg of Twin Falls, Idaho; several nieces and nephews.”

Lamar County, TX Marriage Records: T. B. Good married Annie Bland April 27, 1909, Book 24, Page 311. Lamar County, TX Marriage Records: M. D. Tilson married Annie B. Good July 13, 1924, Book 34, Page 277. (M. D. Tilson died April 26, 1940 in Texarkana, Bowie County, Texas and is buried in Read Hill Cemetery in Bowie County.)

THE PARIS NEWS, Wednesday, May 1, 1940, p. 5: “VISITS HERE AFTER FUNERAL OF RELATIVE - Mrs. Emma Allen has returned to Oklahoma City after a brief visit with her sister, Mrs. Hooks Boyd, 213 South Church Street. She was here en route home after attending the funeral in Texarkana Saturday of her brother-in-law, M. D. Tilson. Mrs. Tilson is the former Annie Bland Goode of Paris.”
