THE PARIS NEWS Sun., Apr. 11, 1993, p.12A. '...74, of Richardson, died Fri., Apr. 9, in Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. Services at 2 p.m. Mon., Apr. 12, at Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home with Dr. Mel Carter. Military escort will be provided by Sheppard Air Force Base. Born in Akron, OH, a son of James Dempsey & Janet Lambie Tillie, he attended schools in Cleveland & served in the U.S. Air Force from 1943 to 1965. He lived in TX, CA, VA, FL, & Okinawa & served 2 tours in the European Theatre. He was a member of the Prestonwood Baptist Church of Dallas & was a 32nd Degree Mason. He married Dorothy Lassiter on Oct. 23, 1944, in Paris. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Phillip (Janeva) Longacre of Dallas; a brother, Charles Tillie of Cleveland; a sister, Jennerre Tillie McClure of Brunswick, OH; 2 nephews & 3 nieces.'
