| Notes LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, 20 Feb 1986. 'Covell Tidwell, 475 E. Henderson, died Saturday, 15 Feb 1986, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center. Services were held Wednesday, 19 Feb., at the Hospitality Church of God in Christ with Elder Thurman Reese officiating. Maxey Funeral Home made burial in Littlejohn Cemetery. Mrs. Tidwell was born in Lamar County, 8 Sep 1905, a daughter of Barry Ruff and Bessie Littlejohn Ruff. Surviving are her husband, Bonnie; a foster son, Luther Ladell of Paris; a stepson, Luther Tidwell of Kansas City, Mo.; and a cousin, Ethel Francis of Paris; eight grandchildren.' In 1992 this was an unmarked grave. |
