From the record journal of Meadowbrook Cemetery; daughter of Fred and Amanda Hobbs Freeman. Married W.M. Thrasher. Born in Alabama, died in Paris, TX. THE PARIS NEWS, 25 Apr 1966. 'Mrs. W.M. Thrasher, 81, wife of a retired Baptist pastor here, living at 851 4th SW, died of illness, Monday at 5 a.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital. The funeral, Tuesday at 10 a.m., will be held at Gene Roden and Sons chapel, and burial made in Meadowbrook Cemetery. Daughter of Ferdinand and Amanda (Hobbs) Freeman, Mrs. Thrasher, born in Alabama, 8 Nov 1884, had lived in this area 72 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She and the Rev. Mr. Thrasher were married 23 Mar 1904, and he survives, besides six children: Herbert Thrasher, San Bernardino, Calif.; Mrs. Edna Patterson, Mrs. K.L. DePue and Mrs. Earl Roberts, Dallas; Mrs. T.G. Bowman and Mrs. R.A. Cummings, Paris; also 26 other descendants; a brother and five sisters: Jack Freeman, Mrs. O.W. Burns, Mrs. Sallie Hodges and Mrs. Everett Daniels, all of Paris; Mrs. W.C. VanMeter, Lubbock, and Mrs. J.S. Summers, Fredericksburg.'
