Services at 2 p.m. Mon., Aug. 10, at Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home with Rev. James Elsom. Born in Liberty, MS, a son of Farley & Wilda Nunnery Thornton, he married Doris Sikes Apr. 5, 1971 in Leland, MS. He was a truck driver for Jefferson County Road Department in Pine Bluff, AR. He was a Baptist. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Michelle of the home; a sister, Raynell Weatherford of Galveston; a brother, Wayne Thornton of Greenville, MS.' |
