THE PARIS NEWS, Wednesday, June 14, 1944, p. 6: “MRS. W. W. THOMAS. Death of Mrs. W. W. Thomas, who made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Tom Martin, 11 Finn Ave., occurred there Wednesday at 3:30 a.m. Mrs. Thomas, whose husband died 10 years ago, was formerly Miss Doshia Standifer. Dr. A. B. White of First Baptist Church will conduct funeral service at Brown-Roden Funeral Home, Thursday at 2 p.m., and burial will be made in Highland Cemetery at Deport.”
