From an old scrapbook, donated by Zoe Hazelwood, an unnamed and undated obituary. Handwritten date of 3/14/38; 'PARIS MAN IS KILLED. Bud Thomas Is Victim of Traffic Accident: Another Also Dies.---EDINBURGH, Texas (AP)-Harold Denbow, 21 and Bud Thomas 19, were killed a mile from here Monday night when their sedan overturned at a curve on highway 66. Bruce Brays, 20, of McAllen, third occupant of the car, was injured. Thomas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Thomas of Paris, Texas, had been working in a cleaning plant at McAllen for the past three weeks. Services for Denbow will be held Wednesday. Surviving Thomas are his parents and two sisters, Helen and Frances Thomas. Their residence is at 194 West Cherry street. A telegram notifying his parents of his death came from his McAllen employer Tuesday. Funeral arrangements were not complete. Thomas formerly drove a delivery truck for Fred Council market at Paris. He was a graduate of Paris High school.'
