THE PARIS NEWS-Jan.28,1991: Katie Brunette Temple, 87, formerly of 3281 Margaret, died at 2:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28, at Paris Nursing Home. Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, in Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Julian T. Hendren officiating. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Temple was born Jan. 23, 1904, in Deport, a daughter of James W. Richardson and Nancy Jane Haughton Richardson. She attended Deport schools and married David Brunette in Bogata on Oct. 28, 1922. He died July 26, 1963. She married Ira W. Temple on June 7, 1969, and he died June 4, 1981. She was a salesclerk for Ayres Department Store and was a secretary for Dr. James Brunette for many years before retiring. She was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church. Surviving are a son, Dr. James Brunette of Paris; four grandchildren, Tom Brunette of Houston, Mrs. Tim (Leah) Pursifull of Chicota, Hardy Brunette of San Antonio and Mrs. Roger (Cathy) Niles of Dallas; three great- grandchildren, and one stepdaughter, Mrs. James (Geraldine) Courtney of Levelland..

Married Ira W. [Temple after the death of her first husband, David] Brunette.
