THE PARIS NEWS, Wed, May 11, 1977: “Mrs. Henry Floice (Mary Alice) Teague of Talco died at her home Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. Services are set for 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Leverett and Steele Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Park. Mrs. Teague was born March 28, 1903, in Lamar County, daughter of Dave Harris and Josie McCalley. She married Henry F. Teague on Nov. 5, 1921 in Lamar County. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church at Talco. They had lived in Talco since 1937. Survivors include her husband; one son, David Teague of Austin; one daughter, Mrs. Joda (Gavena) Nelson of Mulgrove, Okla.; one brother, Elbert Harris of Deport; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. tonight, Wednesday, at the funeral home.” Submitted by Carol Campbell.
