| Notes THE PARIS NEWS Sun., Dec. 13, 1992, p.6A. '... Viola Thompson Allen Taylor, 80, formerly of 1269 Graham St., died Fri. in St. Joseph's Hospital. Services at 11 a.m. Mon., Dec. 14, at Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home with Carl Hamilton & Rick Rasmunesen. Born in Lamar County, a daughter of Houston & Lela Sturgeon Thompson, she attended schools in Lamar County. She married William Allen in 1928. He preceded her in death in 1969. In 1975, she married Jack Taylor. He preceded her in death in 1985. Surviving are 2 sons, A.W. Allen & Melvin Allen, both of Paris; 3 sisters, Melba Newton of Justin, Lola Mae Wisner of Coppell & Dolly Corn of Paris; a brother, Morris Thompson of Blossom; several nieces & nephews.' This is also entered under surname Thompson. |
