LAMAR COUNTY ECHO Thu., Sep. 11, 1980. 'Mrs. Mittie Taylor, 80, of 240-3rd NE died Aug. 31 in a local hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday morning the in St. Paul Baptist Church with the Rev. J.Q. Simpson officiating. Interment was in Restlawn Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Maxey Funeral Home. Mrs. Taylor was born in Rosalie on July 5, 1900, daughter of Bill Morgan and Clara Smith Morgan. She is survived by four nieces, Mrs. Clark Black of Paris, Mrs. Lorraine Dillard of St. Paul, Minn., Ollie Mae Steen and Dortha Russell, both of Denver, Colo.; two nephews, Clarence Black of Amarillo and Pete Morgan of Denver and one aunt, Mrs. Annie Howard of Paris.'
