THE PARIS NEWS, Wed., Apr. 12, 1995, p. 10A: 'Mary Jane Taylor, 73, of Paris died Sunday, April 9, 1995, at Medical City Hospital, Dallas. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 13, at Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. James Elsom officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Taylor was born Oct. 13, 1921, in Paris, a daughter of Barney Cyrus and Willie Clarkson Cox. She married Clinton Guy Taylor June 26, 1945. He died Oct. 4, 1993. She was a graduate of Paris High School and was a Baptist. Surviving are two sons, Stephen Taylor of Central Point, OR and Reginald Bennett of Paris; two daughters, Deborah Schiehtel of Central Point. OR and Joan Archer of Hemet, CA; a sister, Dorothy Stone of Dallas; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.'
