From the record journal of Meadowbrook Cemetery; born in Amory Mississippi, died in Paris, TX., age 82 years, 3 months, 11 days.

THE PARIS NEWS, Tuesday, 24 Sep 1963. 'The funeral of Jessie B. Taylor of 207 George Wright Homes here who died Monday, will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in Seventh Street Baptist Church by the pastor, the Rev. Crowley Bridges. Interment in Meadowbrook Gardens, east of Paris, will be made by Grant Funeral Home of Deport. Mr. Taylor, born at Amory, Miss., 12 Jun 1881, moved to Taylortown community in 1916. His death occurred at Lamar Medical Center here. Surviving are his wife, the former Illia Clemons; these children: Ira Taylor, Cunningham, Dave Taylor, J.B. Taylor and Mrs. Luther Reed, all of Paris; Jack Taylor, Taylortown, Carl Ford Taylor, Eugene Taylor, and Mrs. Reba Mae Pritchett, in Calif.; Charles Edward Taylor in Ok.; Mrs. Bill Jamar in Louisiana and Mrs. C.E. Manson, Houston, 83 other descendants; and one sister, Mrs. John Baker of Paris.'
