THE PARIS NEWS Wed., Jul. 28, 1993, p.16A. 'Hugo, OK - Eugene P. Taylor, 71, of Hugo died Tuesday, July 27, in McCuistion Regional Medical Center in Paris. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 29, at the First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Mutt Wallace officiating. Lampton-Mills and Coffey Funeral Home will make burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Mr. Taylor was born Nov. 4, 1921, in Bluff, OK, a son of John Hezzie and Josephine Lemarie Taylor. He married Edna Jane Armstrong Feb. 21, 1942. He served in the Army during World War II. Surviving are his wife; two sons, Johnny Taylor of Hugo and Kent Taylor of Wichita, KS; two daughters, Ann White of Moore, OK and Denise Edge of Soper, OK; one brother, Scott Taylor of Soper; five sisters, Ellen Parsons of Turlock, CA, Mildred Gault of San Jose, CA, Etta Smith of Parker, AZ, Georgia Robinson of Arlington, and Louise McDaniel of Monahans, TX; and four grandchildren, Pat Edge, Chad LaCroix, Kolton Hampton and John White.'
