THE PARIS NEWS Wed., Oct. 6, 1993, p. 14A: 'Clinton Guy Taylor, 70, 343 Brown Ave., died Monday, Oct. 4, 1993, at his home. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. James Elsom officiating. Gene Roden's Sons, Directors of Funerals, has charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Taylor was born Aug. 24, 1923, in Hope, AR, a son of Sidney Albert and Mary A. Stanley Taylor. He served in the Army during World War II and was a Baptist. Surviving are his wife, Mary Jane; one son, Stephen Taylor of Paris; one stepson, Reginald Bennett of Paris; one daughter, Deborah Schichtel of Central Point, OR; one stepdaughter, Joan Archer of Hemet, CA; two brothers, Burlon A. Taylor of Alta Loma, CA and Kenneth Taylor of Alhambra, CA; four sisters, Mary D. Vant of Alhambra, CA, Jean Ethington of Oceanside, CA, Virginia Brown of Denton and Inez Kirk of Hope, AR; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.'
