| Notes Information submitted, 24 June 1992 and updated 16 Nov 2007, by Mary Posey Tallant, 3240 Robin Rd., Paris, TX 75460, mtallant@1starnet.com: Claudie Emmit Taylor was born 7 May 1907 and died 6 August 1907. Claudie was the son of Alva Lee and Arizona Mitchell Taylor. Claudie was a twin. When Claudie and Maudie were born, it seemed to all that Claudie would be the healthiest of the two. Maudie was smaller and not expected to live. Claudie lived just a few months. He is buried at McEwin Cemetery in an unmarked grave along with his sisters, Clara Bell and Bulah Lee. Their grandfather Melvin Valentine Mitchell is buried there also, and he has a headstone at his grave. |
