THE PARIS NEWS Tue., Sep. 24, 1991, p.4A. '... died in Paris Nursing Home Mon. Fry & Gibbs transferred the body to Eubank Funeral Home in Mabank where graveside conducted Sat., Sep. 21, at Oaklawn Cemetery with Rev. Steve Glosup. Born in Mabank, son of Hugh & Mary Jane Thompson Tarlton. Was a former resident of Lubbock where he retired from Amocco Oil Co. after 20 years of service. Later worked for Valley Feed Mill & Chisum Hi School. Was a Baptist & active in Boy Scout work. Surviving are 2 sons, William H. 'Pete' Tarlton of Lubbock & Guy Thomas Tarlton of Miami, FL.; 2 brothers, Clifford Tarlton of Dallas & Richard Tarlton of Richardson; 3 sisters, Hazel Shelton of Dallas, Jessie Pearl Sanders of Canton & Alice Ruth Hammond of Mabank, 3 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren.'
