THE PARIS NEWS, Mon., Feb. 10, 1997, p.A: 'Deport - Billy James Talley, 63, of Milton, died Saturday, Feb. 8, 1997, at his home. Wood Funeral Home conducted graveside services at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb, 10, at Highland Cemetery. He was born Dec. 10, 1933, in Shadowland, to Wesley Newton and Ethel Lee Whitsworth Talley. He was a retired dispatcher from Earth Grains and had served in the Army. He married Edna Evans Farris Feb. 20, 1990. Surviving are his wife; sons, Randy and wife Cindy Talley of Deport and Billy Don Talley of Dallas; a daughter, Sharon and husband Jackie Emayabbi of Paris; stepsons, Lloyd and wife Becky Farris of Paris, Darrell Farris of Greenville, Eddie Farris of Tulsa; stepdaughters, Mary and husband Eran Yoder of Deport and Carolyn Lane of Houston; one brother and sister-in-law, Travis and Pat Talley of Deport; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Patsy and Stanley Smith, Ruth and Don Wear and Elizabeth and Lyn Howard, all of Paris; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, James Stanley Talley in 1974 and a sister, Veta Joyce Talley, in 1939.'
