| Notes THE LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, 12 Nov 1981. 'Graveside services for Mrs. Bessie Talley of Cherry Street Annex Nursing Home were held Thursday, 5 Nov in Evergreen Cemetery, under the direction of Gene Roden's Sons. The Rev. Bob Turnipseed officiated. Mrs. Talley died Tuesday, 3 Nov 1981 at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born 20 Dec 1907 in Lone Oak, a daughter of Safe and Tillie Bradley Sanders. She married Lee Talley, who preceded her in death in 1943. She is survived by one son, L.J. (Jake) Talley of Brookston; one daughter, Mrs. David Fields of Lubbock; one sister, Mary Camp of Mountain Home, Ark.; and six grandchildren.' |
