THE PARIS NEWS, Nov. 27, 2000: “Audria ‘Sally’ Talley, 70, of Paris died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000, at Christus St. Joseph’s Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, in Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with Jay Tidwell officiating. Burial will be in Tigertown Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Sally was born in Tigertown Feb. 14, 1930, to Charlie and Maggie Burkeen Hall. She married Clifford Lorn Talley June 5, 1948, in Borger. He preceded her in death. She was a bookkeeper for the family operated plumbing business and was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Roebuck and husband Jay of Paris, grandsons, Dalton Briar and J. J. Roebuck; brothers, George and Bobby Hall of Dalhart; five sisters, Ruby Stevens, Juanita McMillan, Millie McDonald and husband Lee, Mary Ferguson and husband Charles, all of Paris, and Evelyn Lowrance and husband John of Spring; 21 nieces and nephews; 46 great nieces and nephews, and 10 great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Hall, and the following who died in infancy which meant a lot to her, a granddaughter, Megan; a brother, Eugene; a niece, Crystal, and a nephew, Dillan. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. www.legacy.com.”
