THE PARIS NEWS, November 27, 1935, Pg. 2: “Miss Dorothy Tabor, 23 years old, who died Tuesday afternoon at 4 o’clock at her home in Gose community after being ill with pneumonia five weeks, was buried Wednesday afternoon at 3 o’clock at Hickory Grove cemetery. The service was held by the Rev. O. A. Wright and the Rev. Jim Tod of Honey Grove. Pall bearers being Marvin Rufus and Jack Rhodes, Paul McCann, Rodell Hughes and Marian Langford. Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Tabor, a brother, Hubert and a sister, Merle Tabor.”
