THE PARIS NEWS, Sunday, June 18, 2000, page 10A: 'DALLAS - Nunnie Booker Sr., 65, of Dallas and formerly of Paris, died Wednesday, June 14, 2000. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 19, in the Greenville Avenue Church of Christ, 1013 S. Greenville Avenue in Richardson. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park in Dallas. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday, June 18, at Restland Funeral Home. He was born Nov. 1, 1934, in Paris, a son of the late Nathaniel and Hattie Booker Sr. He married Emma Booker, who survives. Other survivors are sons Nunnie Booker Jr. and Michael L. Booker; a daughter, Shelia Ann Booker; six brothers, Joe Booker, Nathaniel Booker, Walter Booker, James Clifford Booker, David Booker and Jimmy Booker; a sister, Doris Morris; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Booker. He received his education in Lamar County Schools and was self employed.'
