THE PARIS NEWS, Fri., Sep. 26, 1997, p. 4B: 'Earlie M. Browner, 65, 1120-6th NE, died Saturday, Sep. 20, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sep. 27, at Olive Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Ellis officiating. Maxey Funeral Home will make burial in Restlawn Garden Cemetery. She was born July 8, 1932, in Paris to Clyde and Pinkie Bly Harmon. She was employed by Paris Independent School District and was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, J. W. Browner; a son, Marquette L. Smith of Dallas; a sister, Annie Lee Flowers of Paris; a brother, L. C. Harmon of Portland, OR; and a grandson, Louis Owens of Paris. She was preceded in death by a daughter and one sister.'
