THE PARIS NEWS-Mar.21,1991: HUGO, Okla. — Carolyn Sue Taylor, 52, of Soper, Okla., died Tuesday, March 19, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 23, at the First Assembly of God Church in Hugo. The Rev. Jerry Cooper will officiate. Lampion-Mills and Coffey Funeral Home will make burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Mrs. Taylor was born Nov. 27, 1938, in Fort Towson, Okla., a. daughter of William Eugene and Faye Stevens Wilson. She married Scott Taylor on May 2, 1955. She was secretary for the Housing Authority of the Choctaw Nation and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. Surviving are her husband; three sons, Scott Taylor Jr. and Stephen Taylor, both of Hugo and Sandy Taylor of Soper; her mother who lives in Valliant, Okla.; six brothers, Bo Wilson of Fort Towson, Gordon Wilson of Oklahoma City, Allen Wilson of Longview, Texas, Wade Wilson of Atlanta, Texas, Harold Wilson of Pattonville, Texas, and Charles Montgomery of Muskogee, Okla.; six sisters, Louise Coffey of Millerton, Okla., Gloria Stanford of Valliant, Margie Petty of Valliant, Ruth Wright of Midwest City, Okla., Doris Coleman of Moore, Okla., and Wanda Jones of Marietta, Okla., and six grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
