THE PARIS NEWS, Mar. 17, 2009: “Beulah Elizabeth Todd, 97, of Hopewell, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 14, 2009. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Holt officiating. Burial follows in Hopewell Cemetery. The family receives friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Todd, the daughter of Robert and Georgia Newsom Benningfield, was born Aug. 12, 1911, in Unity. She married Lee Arnold Todd on April 24, 1928. She was an LVN in the Paris area for 30 years and was a member of Paris Church of God. She loved to garden at her home in Hopewell where she lived for over 57 years. She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Robert Lee Todd; a grandson, James Glynn Todd Jr.; two granddaughters, Glenda Marie Pilkington and Vickie Brown; six brothers and four sisters. Survivors include two sons, Glynn Todd and wife, Claudette, of Antlers, Okla., and George Todd and wife, Monica, of Grand Junction, Colo., 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren along with a plethora of nieces, nephews and friends. Casket bearers will be Joshua Todd, Jermey Todd, Jason Todd, James Howell, James Birdsong and Brannin Miller.
