THE PARIS NEWS, Sunday, October 13, 1940, p. 11: “THOMPSON INFANT. Funeral service for the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. B. A. Thompson of Chicota, born Friday morning at the Sanitarium of Pans, will be held some time Sunday at Forest Chapel Methodist Church, with interment at the cemetery there. The child died at 4:45 p.m. Saturday. Surviving are the parents, a sister and four grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Thompson of Chicota, and Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Moore of Lubbock.”
