THE PARIS NEWS, Friday, May 29, 1981, Pg. 4: "Annie Lee Isbell, Rt. 4, Clarksville, died in Red River General Hospital at 5 p.m. Thursday. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobo Wilkie officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery at Deport. Mrs. Isbell was born in Woodruff County, Ark. on May 10, 1899, a daughter of Frank and Emaline Fowler Halbrook. She had lived in Red River County most of her life and was a member of the Methodist church. Surviving are a son, Bob Isbell of Clarksville; two daughters, Pauline Merritt of Pattonville and Virginia Schell of Dallas; one sister, Mrs. C. R. Baldwin of Eliasville; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren."
