THE PARIS NEWS, Thursday, January 5, 1961, p. 2: “ERNEST C. INMON. Ernest C. Inmon, 50, a rancher of Paris, Rt. 6, who came to Paris from West Texas five years ago, died at 8:50 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph’s Hospital here. Ill the past few months; he had been admitted to the hospital about 1:30 a.m. Services will be held at Fry and Gibbs chapel and burial made here, but other details were incomplete. Surviving are Mr. Inmon’s wife; three children: Mrs. Charles Huffman, Lockney; Mrs. Larry McVay, Dallas and Ernest Clay Inmon, Jr., Paris; his mother, Mrs. A. C. Inmon, and a brother, Cecil Inmon both of Jericho, Donley County. Ernest Inmon was born at Myra, Cooke County April 8, 1910, son of A. C. (Clay) and Mary Kate (Cobb) Inmon and attended Windy Valley school in West Texas. He married Winnie Fraser at Groom, December 8, 1934, and they moved here from Plainview. He was a member of Calvary Methodist Church, Paris.”

THE PARIS NEWS, Friday, January 6, 1961, p. 2: “Inmon Service. The funeral of Ernest C. Inmon, 50, a rancher of Paris, Rt. 6, who died Thursday, will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Fry & Gibbs chapel, and interment made in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Inmon and his wife and son, Ernest Clay Inmon, Jr., moved to Lamar County from Plainview in 1956.”

THE PARIS NEWS, Sunday, January 8, 1961, p, 4: “Inmon Burial. Last rites for Ernest C. Inmon were held Saturday at Fry & Gibbs chapel by the Rev. Jerry Delleney of Calvary Methodist Church, burial being made in Evergreen. Bearers were W. E. Hill of Windom, Harry Crawford, Juarez Jordan, Emory Smith, Dean Fuller and J. L. McVay. Mr. Inmon, a rancher of Paris, Rt. 6, died Thursday.”
