THE PARIS NEWS, Mon., Sep. 20, 1982. 'William C. (Skates) Ingram, 74, 330-19th SW, died at St. Joseph's Hospital at 1:25 a.m. Sunday, Sep. 19. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sep. 21, in Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Higgs officiating and burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Ingram was born Oct. 7, 1907, in Biardstown, a son of William Claude Ingram and Mertie Finn Ingram. He was married on March 27, 1928, to Mona Mazy. He attended schools at Biardstown and Paris High School. He had been in the livestock trucking business in Paris for the past 40 years. Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Howard Crouch of Midland, Mrs. Bill Dawson of Midland and Mrs. Billy John Avance of Midland; one son, Bud Ingram of Paris; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Raymond Cothran of Odessa and Mrs. Mary Dees of Paris; and three brothers, Phillip Ingram of Paris, Mose Ingram of Paris and Paul (Bill) Ingram of Paris; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.' Sexton records of Evergreen have no indication of this burial.
