THE PARIS NEWS, Friday, 11 Apr 1958, p. 2: "W. H. (Bill) Ingram, 1604 N. Main St., owner-operator of the Bill Ingram Garage, died Thursday night at 10:30, shortly after arrival at a Paris hospital. He apparently had suffered a heart attack, though he had been ill about six months. Born in Amherst community, northeast of Paris, 31 May 1897, Walter H. Ingram was a son of the late John B. and Mary Elizabeth (Mullins) Ingram. A World War I veteran, he moved to Paris in 1920, and married Miss Clara M. Sayors that year on 22 May. He had been in the garage business here on North Main Street since 1927. Funeral services, Saturday at 2 p.m., will be conducted at Gene Roden and Sons chapel by the Rev. John Shuler of First Methodist Church. Interment will be made in Meadowbrook Cemetery. Besides his wife, Mr. Ingram leaves these sons: John Ingram, Honey Grove; Billy Joe Ingram, Talco; Lewis Ingram, Paris, and Wayne Ingram, Arlington, and four grandchildren."
