| Notes THE PARIS NEWS Sun., Feb. 2, 1986. 'Phillip Ingram, 1705 E. Booth St., died at 2:40 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, at Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Raymond Armstrong and Dr. James Semple officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Ingram was born Nov. 22, 1911, in Biardstown, a son of Claud Ingram and Myrtle Finn Ingram. He attended Biardstown schools and was a graduate of Paris High School. He married Miss Madeline Peters on May 24, 1930. They lived and farmed in Biardstown until 1934 when they moved to Paris. Mr. Ingram was an independent trucker until his death. He was employed at Camp Maxey during World War II. He was a member of the First Christian Church. Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Jimmy (Ruth Ann) King of Paris; three sons, Tommy Ingram of Cooper, Bob Ingram of Mesquite and Scott Ingram of Paris; six grandchildren and three great-grandsons; two sisters, Mary Dees of Paris and Mrs. Raymond (Joan) Cothran of Odessa; one brother, Mose Ingram of Paris. He was preceded in death by three brothers, W.C. Ingram Jr., I.J. Ingram and Paul (Bill) Ingram, and one sister, Esther Slusher. If friends prefer memorials over flowers, the family requests that they be made to the Paris Regional Habilitation Center.' |
