THE PARIS NEWS, Sunday, November 23, 1941: “Mrs. Mary Ingram of 449 E. Booth St., widow of John B. Ingram, died Saturday at 10:10 am at her home where she had been ill some time. Funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday, 492 N. Main St., conducted by Dr. A. B. White, pastor of First Baptist Church, with interment in Providence Cemetery by Brown-Roden Funeral Home. Pallbearers will by Rick Adams, Grover Darnell, Jim P. Ford, G. H. Pieger, John Gardner and R. C. Hodges. Besides her son, she leaves eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was born in Texas Oct. 3, 1857, daughter of the late Tobe Mullens and wife.”
